David R. King
Chairman of the Board

David R. King joined the board of directors as chairman in March 2008 and has more than 30 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, including venture financing, public offerings and strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies. He was a co-founder and the CEO of BioRexis Pharmaceuticals until it was acquired by Pfizer in February 2007. He was also CEO of Principia Pharmaceutical Corporation and President of Delsys Pharmaceutical Corp. Prior to that, Mr. King founded and was a leader of the venture capital and emerging business practice at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s largest law firms. Mr. King is on the board of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his law degree from Harvard Law School.
