Xencor's pioneering computational design approach to generating novel proteins is protected by a portfolio of U.S. and international patents, including broad coverage of our Protein Design Automation® (PDA®) technologies and novel proteins generated using the PDA® platform. Xencor continues to actively pursue intellectual property protection on all aspects of its technology development. We have a strategy to comprehensively protect the new protein compositions of matter that we design by filing patents throughout the progression of a project from computational design to first proof of principle in humans.
