XmAb™ Pipeline Candidates

Xencor is applying its XmAb™ technology to create a portfolio of drug candidates for oncology, inflammation and autoimmune diseases. We are creating improved versions of antibodies that have shown strong potential for biological activity in humans. We believe that the enhancement of effector function by application of our Fc technology will enable these antibodies to become successful drug candidates.

Each XmAb™ candidate is designed with the following features:

  • It is derived from a public domain or Xencor-produced antibody with high selectivity for a tumor antigen.
  • It targets a tumor antigen that has well-understood biology and, against which, antibodies have shown promising activity.
  • It contains an Fc domain with amino acid substitutions that increase cytotoxic potency against tumor cells from 10-fold up to 100-fold.
  • It contains a humanized variable domain optimized, using proprietary XmAb™ technology, for low immunogenicity, and high expression, solubility, and affinity.
